Hi ya'll. Welcome to this little blog about my store, running a business, my favorite pieces, & sometimes my crazy life. I'll have some other bloggers take over posts every once in awhile so you don't get too bored. I don't really know what this will consist of each post, but hey, let's just go with the flow.
Disclaimer: The only items I will post about other than the ones we carry at Rio, will be for local designers & other small businesses. #shopsmall
Me: Brazilian born & call Texas home. I tend to say ya'll a lot, have several typos & like to use filters, so please don't be a hater. I probably drink too many bloody marys, stuffed with too many things. My husband & I also flip homes, currently in Dallas, & I have 3 little people who run around my house all day. I get asked often how I can juggle it all, seriously, I don't know, but it's possible. I love positive vibes & loyal friends who make me laugh. I want to help as many women as I can to succeed in their business, because the truth is, there's room for everyone.
As a mom, sometimes I try not to look homeless when I have no time to get ready. In order to achieve a quick & dressed look, a lot of my style is laid back & boho chic, which is reflected in the store. I love neutrals, embroideries, & fringe.
I teamed up with the awesome Stephanie Drenka who took some great photos of my favorite 4th of July look. (If you're in the DFW area & need some blog shots, she's your girl.)
Top: Here // Jeans: Here (You'll wear them every. single. day. Restock sizes soon!) Shoes: Call 469-458-3570 & have them shipped! // Bag: back in stock this Fall. // Earrings , Necklace & Bracelets: Molly Phillips Designs
These shoes I'm obsessed with & currently in store. They are wedges, which is even better.
These earrings will be coming to the store in 2 weeks. They are gold filled & hand-made by an awesome woman & friend, Molly Phillips. She doesn't have a website yet, but you can stalk her on Instagram.
If you like to Instagram, you can follow me & say hello, here.
Thanks for listening to my ramblings....
